StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her first role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. She was also seen in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman made an appearance in Narcos (2015) as and S.W.A.T.(2017) The first and second seasons, respectively. Sigman was the daughter of an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas), who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. Sigman is an U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] The father of her, former baseball athlete Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She started her career on Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she portrayed the lead part in the film Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. [6] The Mexican entry for Best Foreign Language Film was picked at the 84th Academy Awards. [7][8] But it didn't make it to the final shortlist. [9] Sigman was nominated for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in 2011, for her performance in film. [10][11] She starred in the Canadian documentary Flight of the Butterflies the next year. 2013 saw Sigman appear in the Norwegian thriller Pioneer
