Zoe Saldana was born on the 19th of June, 1978, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her father is Dominican while her mother is Puerto Rican. She was born in Queens. The family she was born into relocated to the Dominican Republic at the age of 10, where they'd spend the next seven year. Zoe was able to establish an appreciation for dance during her time in the Dominican Republic. At the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy Zoe was taught ballet along with other forms of dancing. The instruction she received was not just a wonderful way to exercise an enthusiastic child but it was also a best preparation for her eventual profession as an actor. Zoe as well as her siblings and parents moved to America when she was seventeen. She developed a love of dance and grew more fascinated by theater. Next up, Deutch will re-team with the writer Katie Silberman for their second romantic comedy, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch and Silberman had previously worked for the Netflix popular show, Set It Up (2018).
