Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg but was raised in Wellington. She was the first actress to make her acting debut in Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film, The Piano. Paquin played the child character in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre in 1996. She also played the title role as a lead character in Fly Away Home, a film released the same year. Paquin portrayed Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. Also, she played the Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as the polexia Aphrodisa groupie in Almost Famous (2000).
