Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She's co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well as the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is an actor, journalist, philanthropist and author for over ten years. Her role also includes being the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. Arianna's celebrity status started in 2003, after she was a candidate for an independent for the California recall vote in order to replace the then governor Davis. She also headed the Detroit energy-efficient vehicle project. Forbes listed her 12th in its top 10 list of Most Popular Media Women. Guardian also included the Huffington Post on their Top 100 list in 2010. AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post, and she became president of the media company. This included many AOL properties at the time such as Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. She was born to a journalist and management consultant Konstantinos along with his partner Elli Stasinopoulos. She was very close with her father. However, it was her bond with her mother that formed her. She displayed leadership qualities even in her early years.
