Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up there. She was a television host on the talk show daytime The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She grew up caring for her younger sister Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. While growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl says that at the past, her mother would stab her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from the college. However, her interests lay in comedy. The show was named the first ever female finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. She began her TV career when she was frequently performing on the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the television program Oh Drama! In 2011, she's co-hosting the Talk show. She's been in many fictional show like Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
