Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl is a famous American actor, comedian and TV presenter and best-known for her hosting of the renowned daytime chat show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised among Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from the same family which has experienced a lot of problems. Sheryl was a part of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. Growing up, she had a difficult relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl claims that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father for being too close with her. Sheryl joined the military after her college graduation. But her passion was comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She launched her TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The host was on TV for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. Also, she's appeared in fictitious show like Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
